This fine art photograph by Wayne Nielsen depicts a grand and yet peaceful waterfall nestled in the greenery of a mountain cove. This unique location in the low mountains of Appalachia of North East Georgia, is actually designated as a rain forest! This photograph juxtaposes the water mists, cold granite, mosses, white flowers, and lush foliage. The waterfall is used to operate a 19h century grist mill attached to a bed and breakfast inn on the grounds. It is truly a beautiful place.

Thanks for visiting my site. From my first little plastic box camera purchased at an auction for $1, to the first Nikon acquired in the mid-1970s, I have always had a camera and a passion for creating images. Early formal photographic education came during high school, where for two years, two hours a day, I had the opportunity to learn under the German master who taught us photographic technique, darkroom processes, and graphic design and communication. From this point, my parents let me set up a little darkroom in the basement of our small home in Ocala, Florida.
