A rare fine art photograph of the abandoned Cross Florida Barge Canal project, now relegated to history. This stately concrete monolith - a huge bridge piling - now stands alone in a wooded area covered in trees. Once destined to bear heavy highway traffic over the anticipated cross Florida canal, this fragment of our past remains as a silent reminder of what might have been.

Thanks for visiting my site. From my first little plastic box camera purchased at an auction for $1, to the first Nikon acquired in the mid-1970s, I have always had a camera and a passion for creating images. Early formal photographic education came during high school, where for two years, two hours a day, I had the opportunity to learn under the German master who taught us photographic technique, darkroom processes, and graphic design and communication. From this point, my parents let me set up a little darkroom in the basement of our small home in Ocala, Florida.
