Artist's Description
A fine art nature photograph by Wayne Nielsen. Here, for a limited time I am offering prints of one of my most rare hummingbird photographs. This photograph captures two ruby throated hummingbirds fighting over the turf of food. This fighting occurs in the air, in flying combat. On this occasion, these two male hummers locked together in fierce battle down in the bush. This only lasted for a moment, until I could bear the sight no more, and upsetting their struggle, they both flew free! This is a very special and unique image.
